I AM THREE WEEKS OLD TODAY!!!!

It seems like I am getting bigger and bigger every single minute.

I have been loving tummy time and am getting really good

at holding my head up and squirming all around!

I even try "crawling" (although it's more like what Della does

when her face itches.)

The weekend was very busy for me. What can I say?

I'm already a social butterfly! On Saturday, I met

Colin, who Mommy says is my boyfriend. He is a month and a

half older than me and is the son of another Fullerton teacher.

The same doctor even delivered us! Then, later that night,

I got to meet Ava, Mommy and Daddy's friends daughter.

She was really interested in me and kept wanting to hold me!

On Sunday, Mommy, Daddy, and I took my

first outing to the Avenue for a quick trip to the bookstore and

then a stroll around outside. It was lots of fun!

Mommy and I are having a great time hanging out during the day!

We have taken some walks, taken some good naps, and I

even got to go to work with her on Monday. I met all the teachers

at Fullerton and of course, everyone loved me!

On Thursday Daddy had the pleasure of giving me my

first bottle! It was really fun for both of us.

Tomorrow I have a big day planned. First we are off to

Brianna's birthday party, and then it's my first crab feast

at Grandmom and Grandpop's, where I will meet the rest of the fam.

I Am 2 Weeks Old Today!!!!

It has been an exciting two weeks here with Mommy and Daddy. I went to my first fast food restaurant, Chick-Fil-A, for a benifit for Ally Jarkiewicz. She is an adorable little girl, that is the daughter of one of Daddy's friends from high school.

So this week Iwent in for my 2 week checkup on Tuesday.

The doctor told me I was doing great. I am right where I should be. I weighed in at 8lbs. 8 oz.

so I have gained all my birth weight back, plus an ounce!! Th e doctor did my PKU test and everything is doing great. He also mentioned how strong I am. As if I didn't already know.

I have been sleeping a little better this week, even putting in 4 hours at night occasionally, which Mommy and Daddy have been grateful for.

On Friday I had to go back to see the doctor because I was having some eye gunk issues. The doctor checked me out and said I have a clogged tear duct and it will get better with time. When they weighed me on Friday I came in at a very hefty 8 lbs 11 ozs! Mommy's got some good milk! So all in all I'm growing good. We are all adjusting to our new live's quickly and things are going better then we could have hoped for (knock on wood)!

One Week Old

Today is my one week birthday!!!!

It has been a whirlwind of a first week. Mommy woke up on Friday August 7 and had some bleeding and started having some contractions. So after Daddy went to work and he hurried back they decided it was time to go to the hospital, hoping this was the day we could first meet face to face. After being admitted to the hospital about 11:30 Mommy and Daddy settled in for the long haul.... little did they know. Around 2:30 Mommy stood up and there was a huge gush of blood. I was doing fine in there, Mommy has taken such good care of me, but that darn placenta was starting to detach. So the nice man, who I would later learn was Dr. Giuidice, decided it was time for me to come on out. I made my appearance at 3:32 on August 7th and I must say it was love at first sight!

I must have been well nourished because I weighed in at a hefty 8lbs. 7 oz. and was 21 inches long. Well Mommy, Daddy, and Me we spent 5 days in St. Joe's hospital getting acquainted.

We finally made it home on Tuesday the 11th and I was soooo happy to be home!!!!

So the first couple of days have been great!! Daddy made me a great room to sleep in (although I haven't used it yet).

So it's been a great week with Mommy, Daddy, and Me spending some quality time together. I will leave you with a few more pictures of just how cute I am.
