Hi everybody! Maybe you don't remember me, but I'm Katelynn :) I know that I have been gone for almost a year but, Mommy explained New Year's resolutions to me and I decided that mine will be to do a better job keeping everyone updated on the exciting things happening in The Chisolm Family.
So, here is a quick recap of the past 8 months:
- I realized how much I LOVE the pool!
- We watched fireworks at Fullerton and I giggled at the "booms"
- I got potty trained!!!! (This may be more exciting to Mommy and Daddy, but I am glad to be done with the diapers!)
- I started learning my letters
- Mommy and I did some really fun things this summer (the zoo, lots of trips to the park, the Turkey Hill Experience, Ladew Gardens, etc)
- I had my first ride on Grandpa's boat and was a total natural :)
- We had our first family vacation this summer at the beach
- I TURNED 2!!!
- We went to Weber's Farm and Huber's Farm
- I dressed up as a beautiful bumble bee for Halloween and went trick-or-treating for the first time
- I met Santa (3 times!)
- I saw the lights on 34th Street with Mommy and Daddy
- I had a super fantastic Christmas and Santa brought me the one present I asked for (a little blue present with a Dora and Boots inside that I can play in my bathtub with)
A few more exciting things to note:
- Mommy graduated from Johns Hopkins University with her Master's Degree
- Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 5 year wedding anniversary in Antigua
- Daddy turned 32 in July
- Mommy turned 30 in August
- Daddy got a new job
2011 was a really fun and exciting year and I can't wait to see all the fun things I will get to do in 2012! Happy New Year!!!
